As a long-time curator, gallerist and handcrafted goods retailer, I believe that your environment should be a reflection of your unique personality or brand.

My personal design philosophy is rooted in the Scandinavian design community. They have a saying: ‘One should be in harmony with his or her environment, and things should be made to last rather than be replaced’.  This minimalist style originated in the early 20th century and promotes simplicity, functionality and nature. It also encourages us to seek opportunities to reduce, reuse, and recycle.

 

When we're thoughtful about our designs by incorporating quality materials and construction, they not only look beautiful, they also support superior craftsmanship, ethical trade — and most importantly — sustainability. The main purpose of minimalism is to create designs that improve everyday life; efficient solutions that stand the test of time.
